Wizard Mechanic: Charge Abuse
Issue:
Wizards can gain charge by hitting doors.
Why it’s problematic:
This allows wizards to generate resources for free without engaging enemies.
Creates an unfair advantage compared to other classes, who must take risks to build resources.
Suggested Fix:
Remove charge gain from hitting doors — wizards should only build charge through valid combat interactions.

Dont see much use cases for Charge Power generated by hitting doors to be an advantage. In Extraction there would be normally enough opportunities to gain Charge Power.
In the Social-Hub is more use case for this mechanic, based on after downed not being “reviewed” renewed Charge Power. But that is also more an inconvinience Topic. That slows down Duels.
No up or downvote from me. Just would prefere the Devs focus on other topics, this looks a bit of a “waste of time” currently on the Priority List for the Devs.

To be honest I do net really see the issue with that. Imo there isn’t much cases where this gives a big advantage and other classes have other tools other than hitting a door (which the wizard doesn’t).
Warrior → Horn
Priest → Statue
Hunter → Shrines
Rogue → Autogenerates / Gear / Invis
Also if I am playing wizard until our fight starts I will not use my charged power. Mid fight there is barely any time to hit something else and I would rather hit your block to generate CP while taking your pips.
The only real case would be if I blink away to somewhere where a door is close by to generate power.
I will not up or downvote as I don’t mind if they remove it but I really don’t see much point in „wasting time“ on this.

They removed that but Chris re-implemented it as part of the fantasy, if anything other classes should be allowed to generate resources hitting doors/boxes.

If we look at the difference in the resources. Charged Power is probably the least effectual.
Rage: Used for all warriors attacks, which are strong.
Swiftness: Haste buff, instant cast abilities, stamina regen at full swiftness
Charged Power: Conflagurate or Overcharge/Overload. Conflag having the stipulation of needing someone with an effect prior.
