Frostbite Affliction Still Reduces Stamina Regeneration
The patch notes specifically state; In Season 1, update 3
“Frostbite
Reworked:
Instant damage has been removed, and stamina regeneration slowing rate has been removed”
However the slowing regeneration rate has persisted through the patches.

Overall currently frostbite feels too hard to trigger and against most classes if you finally manage to procc it the root gets removed by invis or enrage or heavens ward or the target just keeps blocking.

It’s not just wizard who is applying frostbite. Hunters also make use of it in their large trap combo. Where ice arrow doesn’t break roots of bear traps, so they can Bear Trap, Frost arrow, Bear Trap again, Frost Arrow and it can be applied quickly.
For frost wizard it’s still incredible, if you get this affliction. the battle is usually over, in that you’re right but if you do get it earlier, it decides the fight due to this bug.

Completely forgot about that one! Thanks for mentioning it! It just isn’t as much of a problem/visible right now because against non blocking targets, they mostly die before you procc it and against blocking targets it’s very hard to procc it.
